Theresa supports clients experiencing anxiety, panic, depression, stress, and emotion regulation challenges. She also helps teens and families navigate school issues, peer relationships, and communication difficulties. With couples, she provides guidance in managing conflict, rebuilding trust, and fostering healthier patterns of connection. In addition, she works with concerns such as ADHD and executive functioning, boundaries and assertiveness, complex trauma (C-PTSD), grief and loss, perfectionism, self-esteem, and sleep difficulties. Whatever the concern, Theresa tailors her work to each client, whether supporting an individual, a couple, or a family system.
Theresa integrates a variety of evidence-based approaches to meet the unique needs of individuals, teens, couples, and families. She draws on Neuro-psychodynamic Therapy to help clients understand how brain processes connect with thoughts, emotions, and relationships. She uses Cognitive and Behavioural approaches (CBT, DBT, ACT) to provide practical skills for managing stress, improving communication, and regulating emotions. For families and couples, Theresa emphasizes collaboration, mindfulness, and self-compassion practices to reduce conflict and strengthen connection.
