Camila Schroh

Provisional Psychologist
Virtual & In-Person
Counselling for Teens (12+) and Adults (18+) PsychoEducational and Giftedness Assessment (6+)
Camila brings over 15 years of experience helping children, teens, and adults better understand themselves and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity. She supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, mood challenges, and major life transitions. She also has a particular interest in men’s mental health and emotional wellbeing, focusing on the unique pressures men face around identity, relationships, emotional wellbeing, and expectations.
Known for her warm, approachable style and practical mindset, Camila combines insight with strategies clients can actually use in everyday life. She believes therapy should feel collaborative, genuine, and useful -- a space to better understand patterns that may be maintaining difficulties, build skills, and create meaningful change. Her work is informed by Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Attachment-based, Narrative, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approaches, allowing her to tailor support to each client’s needs. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, she adapts therapy to fit the person in front of her.

In addition to counselling, Camila provides psychoeducational and giftedness assessments for children and youth ages 6+, and works with parents to strengthen connection, confidence, and strategies that support growth at home.

Clients often appreciate Camila’s balance of compassion and gentle honesty, as well as her ability to bring curiosity, humour, and a sense of ease into difficult conversations, creating an environment that feels both supportive and real.

She provides counselling in English and Brazilian Portuguese and can also support clients who prefer to express themselves in French or Spanish.
