Jaimee is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and has extensive experience in the field of mental health.
Jaimee gravitates towards working with adults who are dealing with various stressors and problems, such as anxiety, trauma (PTSD), depression, emotion regulation, trauma, stress, poor self-esteem and confidence, work concerns, chronic health concerns, and brain injuries.
Jaimee has a diverse history that gave her the experience to work with a wide variety of people and mental health concerns. During her time at the Calgary Counselling Centre, she had the opportunity to work with all kinds of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma (PTSD), self esteem issues, personality disorders, OCD, stress, grief, work concerns, and more.
Jaimee has a history of working with individuals who experienced physical or mental trauma. She has worked in a brain injury rehab program for 5 years where she provided therapy to individuals who suffered head trauma, as well as first responders with psychological trauma and PTSD. Jaimee uses Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy and mindfulness to treat PTSD.
Jaimee has specialized training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) Treatment for PTSD. Jaimee also utilizes mindfulness approaches where applicable to help clients get connected to their present self.

Jaimee incorporates various strategies focusing on empowerment, building and fostering resiliency, and teaching skills to help individuals live a fulfilling, worthwhile life. Jaimee utilizes a blend of change strategies, alongside validation and acceptance, all while harbouring a therapeutic relationship based on mutual trust and collaboration. Jaimee prides herself on embracing humour and bringing relatability into the session, and enjoys learning from her clients and seeing them achieve their short and long-term goals.
Outside of her clinical work, Jaimee enjoys spending time with her partner, family and friends, being outdoors, kayaking and canoeing our great waters, trying different foods, writing poetry, playing piano, and spending as much time with the family dogs, Cooper, Kain, and Marley.
