Brittney believes that mental health is not a “one size fits all” approach and will work with you to create individualized goals and tailor treatment to meet your unique needs.
She has spent the last 5 years working within community agencies, EAPs, and private practice supporting those experiencing anxiety, burnout, trauma, and complex mental health concerns. Brittney’s approach is client-centred, trauma-informed, and grounded in compassion. She believes strongly in the importance of fit between a counsellor and client.
In therapy, Brittney provides a safe and inclusive environment to help clients reach their goals. Brittney strives to create a space that is non-judgemental, and she welcomes all clients to find comfort and safety to share their stories.
Together, you and Brittney can examine the barriers that are preventing you from attaining your goals, explore the underlying causes of your concerns, guide you toward solutions, and help you more fully engage with your life. Brittney is exceptionally passionate about the work that she does, and she loves witnessing firsthand the resiliency her clients bring with them!
Brittney has over 5 years of experience using TEAM-CBT techniques where she uses various techniques to help her clients challenge and recreate unhelpful thoughts, allowing her clients to be liberated from their minds. She also utilizes mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques when working with clients experiencing chronic pain and chronic illness, anxiety, depression, and general stress reduction.
