Annemarie is a highly skilled and knowledgeable psychotherapist with more than ten years of experience helping clients overcome traumatic stress and life transitions. Her areas of expertise include post-traumatic stress disorder, adverse childhood experiences, anxiety, helping families affected by addiction and alcoholism, life transitions, autism, stress and burnout, grief, and personality disorders.
Annemarie has worked extensively with populations that frequently experience trauma, including first responders, veterans, victims of abuse, and survivors of serious accidents. She is certified in three evidence-based treatment modalities, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and hypnosis, which she uses to help clients process traumatic memories and past experiences, and learn to regulate their emotions so they can engage in life and relationships authentically and meaningfully. Annemarie performs Assessments (18+ only) for Autism, ADHD, PTSD, Personality Disorders, Cognitive Abilities, Memory, and General Mental Health.
