Ryan is a steady presence for children, teens and adults navigating anxiety, OCD, and other life challenges. As a Registered Provisional Psychologist, he offers therapy for youth (12+) and adults, and provides psychological assessments for children (6+) through to adults.
In addition to counselling, Ryan specializes in neuroaffirming psychoeducational, ADHD, and giftedness assessments. His assessment work is rooted in a strengths-based perspective, helping clients better understand how they learn, focus, and process the world around them. Whether you're seeking clarity around attention, emotional regulation, or school performance, Ryan creates a safe space to explore your mind with curiosity, not judgment.
Ryan works with children (6+), teens (12+) and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, and related challenges, offering compassionate support grounded in evidence-based approaches. His therapeutic style is structured yet adaptable, always tailored to fit the unique goals and needs of each individual. Beyond anxiety and OCD, Ryan also supports clients managing depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, low self-esteem, stress, and burnout—helping them find clarity, build resilience, and move forward with confidence.
In addition to therapy, Ryan provides neuroaffirming psychoeducational, ADHD, ASD and giftedness assessments for clients aged 6 and up. These assessments offer insight into learning styles, cognitive strengths, and areas where support may be needed—particularly in focus, emotional regulation, or school performance.
The Canada Autism Program (CAP) offers financial support for psychological assessments related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for individuals seeking a formal diagnosis. Book a meeting with Ryan to find out how much funding you may qualify for.
A strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important elements of a successful counselling experience. Ryan takes a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach, creating a space where clients feel safe to explore their concerns and build on their strengths.
As a Registered Provisional Psychologist, Ryan primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), integrating mindfulness-based strategies to support emotional regulation and self-awareness. He has a particular interest in treating anxiety, OCD, and related conditions. His approach includes structured, evidence-based methods such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), ensuring that sessions are purposeful, focused, and tailored to each client’s unique needs.
