More About Nicolette
Nicolette understands the unique experiences and perspectives that come with being a Third Culture Kid. Having spent her own developmental years living overseas in Australia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Singapore, she gained an expanded worldview and cross-cultural competency. This allows her to be mindful of cultural diversity, loss, grief, and identity struggles that clients may face.
As a mother herself, Nicolette has grown through the joys and challenges of parenthood. She has prioritized self-care, reflection, and personal growth as she raises her two spirited preschool daughters. Seeing the world through the language of play with her own children has shaped her therapeutic approach with young clients. Nicolette hopes to model strength of character for her daughters - showing passion, independence, dedication and determination. These are values that also translate into her practice with clients.
She is committed to lifelong learning - eager to gain knowledge from colleagues, clients, and resources to stay current. This allows her to shape an eclectic, personalized approach to meet each client's needs. Ultimately, Nicolette aims to provide a safe space where you and your family feel heard. She will support you on your therapeutic journey with care and compassion.
