Domestic Abuse

McKenzie has years of experience working closely with the perpetrators and victims of domestic violence to help individuals and families affected rebuild their lives and move forward from their experiences.

Substance Use

We know that getting help if hard, but it will get easier. McKenzie is here to support individuals of all ages and their families through the ups and downs of substance abuse and recovery.

Motor Vehicle Trauma

McKenzie can help you process what happened while teaching you coping skills, relaxation techniques, and stress management strategies to help manage fears, symptoms and improve their overall quality of life after a serious accident.

Chronic Pain

For many people, chronic pain is the result of an injury or accident that has healed physically but not mentally. This can leave you feeling like your body is fine and yet your mind is still stuck on the traumatic event. McKenzie provides a compassionate space to help you begin to heal and find ways to distract from the pain.

Brain Injury

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) can cause a range of physical, cognitive, and emotional symptoms. Counselling can include education about the injury, coping skills, and stress management strategies to help individuals manage their symptoms and improve their overall quality of life.
