    April is a registered psychologist with college of Alberta psychologists. April has over decade of experience working in mental health supporting individuals and families with various life challenges. April recognizes there are multiple pathways to wellness. Understanding your unique circumstances and individual concerns is most important. She has over 15-years of experience involved in maximizing the well-being of children, youth and their families. As well, she has comprehensive knowledge in the community with direct experience in specialized care and treatment centers. She uses a variety of different therapies including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in conjunction with a relational focus to help make sustainable changes.

    She has experience in treating a range of presenting issues including general stress, phobias, trauma, and mental health disorders. I have extensive experience helping teens with significant social and mental health concerns such as, but not limited to, peer issues, low mood, substance use, social anxiety and school performance.
